The Assistant Commissary Manager will ensure a high quality of service to all guests in the Commissary through daily supervision and training of all front of the house service staff; Assist in the supervision and administration of all service related aspects of the Commissary and to ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for the supervision of the Commissary set-up, service, taking dining room reservations, and taking to-go orders through the Commissary and Cafeteria. Additional responsibilities include all details associated with the daily set up, service and clean up of the dining room. Ensures that a cohesive flow exists with the Commissary Manager for daily operations. Assists in the management of service related areas, as assigned by Commissary Manager through a professional, friendly, courteous and efficient front of the house staff.
The position reports to the Commissary Manager and directly supervises Cashiers/ Servers/ Bussers/ Delivery Staff.
3-5 years of comparable experience.
Experience reconciling banks and preparing deposits.
P/L knowledge and accountability.
Knowledge/ Skills: Must posses a responsible attitude and outstanding interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to delegate effectively. Must be able to interview, hire, develop, train and evaluate all employees in all service related areas. Must have working knowledge of Word, Excel.
